1. Scope and summary
This draft applies to MyCasinoBook's website and related services. It explains what information may be processed when you browse the casino and game directory, create an account, submit community content, interact with posts, or contact us.
MyCasinoBook is an informational and community platform. We do not sell gambling, process wagers, or ask for gambling funds. We do not intentionally collect a record of your casino spending or gambling activity through the product.
2. Information we process
Account information
- authentication identifiers needed to create and maintain your account;
- your email address for account operations (it is not shown on your public profile); and
- profile information you choose to provide, such as display name, username, bio, home city, and home region.
User content
Depending on what you choose to use, this can include posts, comments, reviews, photos, community reports, confirmations, captions, and other submissions. It can also include structured context you voluntarily add, such as a game or casino tag, player-reported Bonus / Win details, expiration settings, and publication choices.
Interaction and account activity
We process likes, comments, follows, favorites, review edits or deletion, report submissions, confirmations, publication requests, and moderation interactions needed to provide those features. Favorites and follows are private by default; public profiles show contribution information rather than those lists.
Security, safety, and abuse prevention
We may process rate-limit information, internal duplicate-content fingerprints, content-safety decisions, social and directory reports, and restricted moderation or audit records. These records help prevent abuse and operate the review workflows.
MyCasinoBook does not intentionally use IP or device-fingerprint collection as part of its current anti-spam design. That practice would require a separate product and legal review if it changes.
3. Public, private, and anonymous content
Private
Private posts, drafts, saved items, follows, favorites, and account details are not displayed through normal public surfaces. Internal staff or systems may still access limited information when needed for service operation, safety, moderation, or legal obligations.
Public
When you publish with your profile, the post or other contribution can be associated with your display name and public profile. Public reviews, photos, and contribution information may remain visible until they are removed or no longer meet the product's publication rules.
Anonymous Public
Anonymous Public content is shown publicly as “Anonymous Player.” The account association remains internal for safety, moderation, abuse prevention, and applicable legal or compliance purposes. Anonymous Public is not a promise of absolute anonymity, and the content itself may contain identifying details.
Your choice controls public identity
Review the visibility and expiration choices before requesting publication. Once a post has been first published, its named or anonymous identity mode is intentionally not freely switchable.
4. Photos and media
Photo uploads are validated, reserved, and processed before a public rendition is available. The product uses sanitized display and thumbnail derivatives publicly; original uploads are not intended to be public media. Processing may remove metadata and may reject files that are not valid supported images.
Intended-public photos may undergo content-safety evaluation before publication. We do not promise a fixed retention period for originals, derivatives, failed uploads, or internal processing records. See the Help page if a photo needs attention.
5. Service providers and safety tools
MyCasinoBook uses service providers to operate the product. Depending on the feature, these categories include:
- Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and related backend services. See Supabase's privacy information.
- Vercel for hosting and delivery. See Vercel's privacy policy.
- OpenAI for the approved automated content-safety check used for intended-public social text and processed images. The current integration sends the necessary content/context for evaluation, not account email or a public identity field. See OpenAI's privacy policy and OpenAI API data controls.
- Google Cloud Web Risk for checking normalized external URLs against known threat and reputation lists. The current lookup sends URL information, not the author's identity or the post body. See Google Web Risk documentation.
Providers may process information under their own terms and policies. MyCasinoBook does not claim that any provider makes a destination, post, or person safe or trustworthy.
6. Moderation, reports, and safety decisions
Publications and reported content may be evaluated by automated safety tools and reviewed by authorized moderators. Community Reports help correct directory or game-location information. Social reports flag posts and comments for community-rule or safety concerns. These systems can create restricted audit records and decisions that are not part of public output.
We may retain the minimum account, content, and event information needed to investigate abuse, honor a moderation decision, protect the service, or comply with law. Moderators should not expose private identities or restricted notes through public pages.
7. Retention and deletion
Content and account information generally remain while the account or feature is active, or until you take an available deletion or lifecycle action. Withdrawn, private, expired, or deleted content may remain in restricted internal records when needed for safety, moderation, abuse prevention, backups, or legal obligations.
We have not set a formal, universal retention schedule yet. Exact periods, backup handling, and deletion timelines require owner and legal review before launch.
8. Requests and choices
You can review and update available profile information through your private profile page. You may also ask for account or privacy assistance, request correction of inaccurate information, or ask about deletion through the Help / Contact page.
We will review requests in context and may need to verify account ownership before acting. We do not make unsupported promises about a particular jurisdiction's privacy rights or response deadline in this draft.
10. Age, minors, and gambling-related content
MyCasinoBook concerns casino and gambling-related information. Gambling eligibility and minimum ages vary by jurisdiction and activity. Do not use the directory or community features if doing so would violate the law where you are.
Owner/legal review required
The product's minimum platform age, geographic restrictions, and approach to minors have not been finalized. This draft is not a substitute for a jurisdiction-specific legal assessment.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date above will change with a substantive revision. Material changes should be reviewed before they are published.
12. Contact and unresolved review items
For account, privacy, deletion, or correction requests, start with Help / Contact.
Owner action required
A monitored production contact, operator/legal entity name, formal retention schedule, applicable jurisdictional notices, and any data-protection contact or process still need to be supplied and reviewed.
