Before joining
- Look at the minimum and maximum limits and read the posted rules.
- Watch a round from a respectful distance if you want to learn the flow.
- Ask the dealer or a floor supervisor whether the game is open and how to buy in.
Buying chips
When you are ready to join, place cash on the layout where the dealer can see it. Do not hand cash directly to the dealer. The dealer will count it, announce the amount, and give you chips according to the table's process.
Wait until the dealer indicates it is okay to place your first wager. The dealer or floor staff can explain any property-specific procedure.
While you play
- Keep chips and hands where the dealer can see them, and follow table signals when they are used.
- Do not touch chips in the betting area after the round begins unless the dealer instructs you to.
- If you are unsure, pause and ask politely. It is better to clarify than to guess.
Cashing out
When you are finished, ask the dealer about coloring up if you have smaller chips. Take chips to the casino cage to exchange them for cash, following the property's current process.
